XBLM offers up LOTR: Conquest multiplayer demo

Fresh from the developer oven and onto the Xbox Live Marketplace serving platter is a new Lord of the Rings: Conquest demo. Best part, it's an online enabled multiplayer demo, joy! Other than the multiplayer knowledge, we're uncertain about the demo specifics other than the fact that it's a 1GB download. So, feel free to add it to your queue and give the LOTR: Conquest demo a try. All the cool kids are doing it.

Takes far too long to load up, xbox.com seems broken since they updated it, it's much quicker just to switch on my console. my downloads are pretty quick anyway - its easily a minute per page before it splutters into life..

This game has nothing to do with strategy--it's basically a Battlefront game.

I grabbed this late- er, early this morning and didnt even know it was coming out i was just browsing the marketplace, sounded good, single player is good, but multiplayer, meh, not so much.

I played it for about 30 minutes, then I died a little bit inside when I realized that LOTR has officially gone south. It was garbage, if anyone else enjoyed it then good for you.

This game is just awful. Xbox quality graphics (not xbox360). Sloppy controls. Slow animations. And not enough people.

My friend loves it, and is buying it ASAP... I don't see why. :\

I don't see why anyone could not like this game. I think it is awesome. Yea it doesn't have quite the graphics it could, but other than that, everything is just fine, I don't see how the controls are sloppy, or the animations are slow. If you are going to get that picky about a game, I don't think there is a game that you will like.
