There's a couple of things you can count on with any
Final Fantasy title. Big hair,
very long spell animations, and gorgeous graphics. The latest batch of
direct-feed screenshots -- 30 in all -- from
Final Fantasy XIII keep up the tradition, with insanely detailed backgrounds and characters. Granted, most of the shots are pre-rendered, but they're still
real purdy, right? Besides, there are
some real time shots in there. You'll just have to dig them out. We suggest you do so right now by perusing the gallery below.
If you look at just one screenshot every month, the game
might actually be available by the time you're done with the gallery.

Try Lost Odyssey, it's no Final Fantasy, but it's great nonetheless. Or you can go ps2 and try FFX or XII. They still hold up, but that might be because I'm a longtime fanboy.
