Knothole Island comes with 'Resurrection Shrine'

To prevent the pain that is caused by millions of fanboys attacking us with wooden baseball bats, because they claim we "ruined their Fable 2 experience" by "revealing a huge spoiler", we'll say this: Spoiler alert!
Now, for those who are daring enough to read further, onto the goods. Lionhead Studios just hinted that a certain "Resurrection Shrine" will be included in Fable 2's upcoming Knothole Island DLC. The shrine's resurrection abilities have only one use and, for those who completed their main Fable 2 quest and made a certain decision, said resurrection should be obvious. Got it?

So you can bring back your dog or sister if you chose the money over them at the end?
I don't get it.
MC THE KEEP @ Jan 12th 2009 7:39PM
I am pretty sure it is for the dog. Maybe the wife and kids if you had them and sacrificed them too.

SPOILERS as well
This is lame. If you chose to let your dog die, tough luck, it's dead. Live with it. You obviously didn't care enough to reset your game and beat it differently. And it's not like it will take that long to play the game with a different character (hell, you're SUPPOSED to play this type of game at least twice)

Woot! i can get my dog back!!
I really didn't want to have to replay the game to get my dog back, i own almost every business and home in the game so it would have been a pain to go back and redo everything.
I'm glad they did this. I was thinking how the new content was going to be if i couldn't use my dog to find treasures and such.
Thanks Lionhead

It better cost 1 mil gold to use or reward those who made the other two choices.
YoRone22 @ Jan 12th 2009 8:06PM
QFT. I saved my dog cause I didn't want it dead. Now seriously they should let me either get my cash or hook it up with all those people being revived.
Jared @ Jan 12th 2009 8:26PM
Yeah, thanks. Maybe you shouldn't put said spoiler in THE FREAKING TITLE! ><
asshat.
I really love you guys, but SERIOUSLY??
Saxon @ Jan 12th 2009 9:17PM
That's not much of a spoiler in the title... I've beat the game and know what goes on and I still thought for a second it was talking about resurrecting you if you die.

Spoilers...
Any hope for a sex change option? No? Didn't think so. :/
EgoCheck616 @ Jan 12th 2009 10:25PM
You need to buy Fairfax Manor. There is a potion in it that allows you to change your sex, can't be sold, must be used by the time you leave the building.
jOEfRO @ Jan 12th 2009 10:30PM
Yeah I know, I did that. Now I want to change back lol. I'm not too upset though.
Ryu @ Jan 13th 2009 10:55AM
lol. same happened to me. changed sex, now want to change it again.
Larry @ Jan 13th 2009 11:02AM
That would be cool if it is true.
Kindergamer @ Jan 13th 2009 11:29AM
Yes! Oh, Happy Day!!! *Tears*
Fyodor007 @ Jan 13th 2009 12:11PM
Ummm the only thing that made the decision tough was the consequences... eliminating those consequences is the cowardly approach I've come to expect from Lionhead.
Saccia @ Jan 13th 2009 2:20PM
I guess this kinda makes up for taking the cash option. I was *SERIOUSLY* pissed when I chose the option for "more wealth than imaginable" and it turned out to be just 1 million gold. I *ALREADY* had over 1 million gold at the time. I was playing an evil character after all who bought every building and raised prices by 50%. I figured I would have a bottomless bank account or something.
