Two teams enter, one team leaves: Superbowl XLIII simulated
Hey, sports fans. We don't need us to remind you that this Sunday is the Superbowl. You're excited enough to have it circled on your Vince Lombardi calendar. On February 1st, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals will both enter the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, as contenders but only one will exit as champion. Kind of like, Beyond Thunderdome. With blood boiling from anticipation, EA Sports has compiled footage from a simulation they ran using Madden NFL 09 to guesstimate the Superbowl XLIII champion. Who will come out victorious? Who will be crowned next? Because in the end, there can be only one. Unfortunately, the video doesn't show us which team that is.

Hmm, the score looked to be around 24-17 in Pittsburgh's favor.
I'm pulling for Arizona, Fitzgerald is a beast

I saw 21-14 Pitt. Although, I couldn't tell if Arizona actually completed the pass on their last touchdown. That looked like coaches challenge material

dumb. they don't give us a score. not even worth your time to watch it unless you're wowed by crappy pseudo-rock music as the soundtrack to video football highlights.

Every post should have a Highlander reference. Xav, you are my hero.

A Transformers "One shall stand, one shall fall" would've done nicely as well. ;)

I'm rooting for the Cards.
Who believed in them coming into the playoffs? No one! Underdogs ftw.
Evil Bastard @ Jan 26th 2009 8:38PM
I think the video doesn't show who the actual winner is, because they use this as promo material on MTV/NFL Network/G4?
Anyway
GO STEELERS!

Give us long term Card's fans a break - after 20 years of nothing but futility, we can use a nice win to mark the start of an era of winning. :)
Go Cards!
