Fan made H3 machinima re-creates Blomkamp's 'Landfall'

Well, two enthusiastic Halo fanboys took it upon themselves to re-create the entire Landfall film experience as a machinima using Halo 3's game engine. Admittedly, UNSC soldiers are swapped out for Spartans and Brutes are replaced with Elites, but other than that, the video is spot on. Oh how we miss the days when our Halo film dreams were still a possibility ... sigh.

so is the film officially not being made. cause i have a friend (yey) that seems to think otherwise. And IMDB says its due out in 2012, which is a bit late if you ask me.

tahnk you very much mr xav, yeah i had heard it was canned. but with the imdb thing there i wasnt to sure, to be fair i think theyve missed the boat now any way. even if it did come out like next year or something. halo ness has kinda died down now. not the playing it online. just the ooo halo ness,

Even though I'm not a Halo fan (games were alright, but couldn't play 2 or 3 through more than once and hated multiplayer on all of them), having a suit like that would just be awesome :D

I wish they hadn't canned the Halo movie. They could have done so much with it by starting it off from the first book where Master Chief was growing up then go on from there.

sorry to nitpick, but neill blomkamp is *not* a film director. the only things he has done are some shorts, and some commercials.
