Yippie-Kye-Aye! New Halo 3: ODST wallpapers to dress your desktop
Bungie.net has updated the Halo 3: ODST page with a pair of fresh wallpapers. Game Informer subscribers might remember these two pieces of concept art from a recent issue of the magazine. Looking to dress up your desktop with some Halo flavor? Check them out.
Halo 3: ODST follows a lone soldier, crash-landed in New Mombasa. While Master Chief can be considered Superman, this ODST soldier is more comparable to John McClane. One guy with some sweet firepower versus insurmountable odds. Hopefully, he'll complain about as much as McClane did.

Why do you guys now directly rip all Halo news straight from Bungie.net?
You don't even bother to edit what they wrote half the time! Its just flat out plagiarism.
john paul @ Jan 29th 2009 9:09PM
The only part he "plagiarized" is the "you might recognize it from GI"...
Xav should be punished...

Am I supposed to make up where people have seen this before?
john paul @ Jan 29th 2009 9:41PM
i was joking btw about the whole you being punished :)
Enzemo @ Jan 30th 2009 6:34AM
Its just you don't even put it in quotation marks. Its just a direct rip.
Bungie jacks most theirs off of Hawty McBloggy but at least they post who wrote the article.

You must have missed the three separate links to the source. The line in my article is different to the line in Bungie's article. You seem to be hung up on the observation from Game Informer. The rest of the article is completely different.
Bungie wrote: "Subscribers to Game Informer will recognize them as the cover and the double page art insert crafted by Bungie's own concept artist, Jaime Jones."

I just can't get too interested for Halo: ODST, you're not an uber mench, you don't have special abilities, you wont even be able to play as an Elite, that and I'm by and large tired of FPSs. I'll play Halo Wars over Halo ODST any day for the simple fact I can command Covenant troops.

Yes except Halo 3:ODST is an open world game like Fallout 3 where you have to explore the city to find out what happened to the other members of your team. By all accounts you then play more standard FPS style games that explain what happened to them.

i HIGHLY doubt that halo 3:odst is going to be like fallout 3 at all. do you remember when bungie told us that halo would put us in huge battles where we could roam whereever we wanted? or when they told us that halo 2 would have new mombasa in it?? come on, i dont think bungie would know how to create an open-world game if it was handed to them on a platter.
