EA's 3 on 3 NHL Arcade skates onto XBLA February 11th

As we were expecting, EA just informed us that 3 on 3 NHL Arcade will be skating its way to the Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday, February 11th for a cool 800

. That is, if the hockey players can fit their abnormally large heads through the rink's entrance. Thankfully, the PSN will be receiving NHL Arcade a few days earlier, so we should know whether XBLA purchasers will need to stock up on Crisco.

Of course, they had to release this the only week of the month I'll be off on a business trip in the US.

Looking forward to this. Reminds me of the old NHL hitz series by midway. It's nice to have a different pace than the usual NHL series (more real, simulator hockey) and those kind of games are usually great for parties.

Very curious to see how this plays. I hope it keeps a lot of the NHL 08 and 09 controls with over the top hits and action. Can we play with Avatars?

I really hope its like NHL 09 in terms of controls, you can't really get much better (in terms of what you can do).

So, by 2010, the PS3 will finally have roughly as many *good* exclusives that the 360 has?

its on the ps3 yea and i will be playing the demo(might buy the game)after it downloads with my built in wi-fi.you pay $100 for one of those

LOL @ the trolls!. I had no idea that having my console within 50 feet of an internet connection was such a hardship. Guess the PS3 is better because of that. *sigh*

I might actually get this. I'm usually morally opposed to sports games (particularly EA) but this looks atlot less like the annual garbage they keep throwing out that idiots keep buying. Plus hockey is my favorite sport.
