This week, XBLA in Brief takes a look at Exit 2. In short, it's a lot like the original Exit. In short, Exit 2 isn't especially EXciting, if you get our drift. It's not bad, per se. In fact, some people will probably love it, but we imagine a lot of gamers will be put off by its slow pacing. Check out our thoughts on the trial version in the video above.

You can tell the child to use the pick axe from the other side of the ice, but I believe she needs to hit it more times that Mr. ESC does... so either way its still slow and takes about the same amount of time.
i just love how he gave the game a bad review based on your character moves too slow wow did he know he can hold down the rb button to run all the time... its obvious he just played the trial and didnt buy it which he should of done if he wanted to review it properly
i know arcade games cost alot and in these times many people cant buy them but a arcade trial is there to give you a taster of the game and if you want more and you buy it... i bet he didnt know exit 1 is on the arcade and that game is overlooked alot
First of all, I never buy the full versions to do these features, which is made very clear in the text above. The point is to give people impressions of the trial version, which is all anyone really has to go on in the first place.
Second, yes, I did know you could run by holding RB. However, holding RB will NOT speed up any action other than walking, which means that climbing, crawling, crouching, using items, pushing boxes, using stairs, issuing commands and jumping are all still slower than a southbound snail on a northbound turtle's back. And that's before mentioning that you spend a good deal of time standing perfectly still while watching other characters moving at a painfully slow pace. Like I said, some people will really like this game, but it's just too slow for me.
And seriously, read the text. Two of the things you pointed out are directly addressed.

It looks good. And I love the premise, it could of been a great platformer. Yet, I agree as this video shows, its just too slow going.
A game needs a bit of energy, and this one doesn't have that.

Was Exit 1 as painfully slow? If not and it's cheaper, it might be more worthwhile to get that one instead.
