Bubble Bobble NEO coming to XBLA

GamerBytes has confirmed with multiple sources that a new Bubble Bobble subtitled NEO is headed to XBLA. It seems to be part of a full on resurgence for the franchise, which is also set for WiiWare as Bubble Bobble Plus.

If you're unfamiliar with the gameplay, which has you using bubbles to battle enemies across several levels, you can get a taste in the video after the break, even though there's no promise that this new Bubble Bobble will bobble the bubbles like its predecessor.

I loves me some Bubble Bobble. But does that first paragraph mean that Bubble Bobble Plus and Bubble Bobble Neo are the same game?

Id Rather see Bust a move but I'll take anything snk offers in hopes that it'll lead to titles like Magican Lord or Nam 75

no way. I was always pissed that bubble bobble got the shaft over the years and was replaced with bust a move, which is just a puzzle game, yet they felt the need to make 1000 different versions for every system ever, rather then revist bubble bobble which was co-op and much much more fun.

They need to make a level editor for this game.

Yep I too would rather see Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move, however I'll probably get this too if its 800 points or less.

1200+ points is a deal breaker.

Just about every Bust a Move game had a level editor in it which is a big part of why I would want it instead.

O man. I have a reason to get a 360 now... Wait, I have a Wii. I will just download it there.

I downloaded it on my PC, I am so addicted to this game! Brings back memories of playing it with my cousin... I still can't believe we beat the whole game!

As long as it is a reasonable price.
