any news on this being multiplayer over Live?
I would love to have some FPB death matches with my mates :)

I just found Banjo-Tooie in a box the other day. Maybe it's time to break out my N64 and finally finish it.

Looks fantastic! So many things to do. I'm almost done with Banjo-Kazooie, so this is perfect timing.

Just finished completing the DLC for Nuts & Bolts. Also, when you zone into the new DLC, it says Nuts & Bolts has been upgraded to use the Stop N' Swap feature for Banjo -Tooie!!! This can't come soon enough!

I wonder how different this will be from the N64 version?
I loved the original (N64) B-K, which had a couple of levels I still consider to be high water marks for platformers. Diving to the VERY bottom of that mechanical shark's tank to get the last few notes was a truly nerve-wracking experience.
Banjo-Tooie? Not so much. It was okay, but I think I got bored with it about halfway through...

I'm the opposite actually

Banjo-Kazooie was the first game I ever owned, and probably my favorite of all time. I waited with anticipation for Banjo-Tooie, and loved that shit as well.
This is my obligatory;
"PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER BANJO-KAZOOIE GAME THAT IS MORE LIKE THE ORIGINALS"
post.
In the vain hope that somebody at Rare actually comes to Joystiq to read comments, which they then take back and put into consideration.

I really wish they could make titles like the Rare of old, but I don't think that *that* Rare exists anymore. Too much of the original staff has left.
The new Rare is all about making things look pretty (PDZ, Kameo, Nuts & Bolts), but hasn't found a way to actually make their games fun to play. It seems the best they can do is to re-release the classics. :(
