European Xbox owners get free Live Gold this weekend

It's an Xbox Xtival! (Don't try to pronounce it -- you may summon Cthulu.) European Xbox 360 owners will be treated to a weekend of free Xbox Live Gold access in this virtual "party" featuring Halo 3, Lips, Guitar Hero and more. The free Gold experience should activate automatically, allowing even lowly non-paying customers to jump online in their ~~favorite~~ favourite games.

Dunno if it's a problem on my part but in Halo 3 silver gamers are only allowed to play in Social playlists. No Ranked.

I live in Mexico and we are gonna get that from 8th to 11th May, free golden membership just that weekend, is in a windows in the dashboard....

I already have gold, but if ther are some Mexican players, use it the next weekend...

It already happened a couple weeks ago. 2-3 weeks I think. There was the free xbox live Gold! Yes, you missed it. But hey, go buy it and you will see, it's not expensive at all.
