I lack patience, so instead of trying the space invaders demo, i just purchased right away.
Probably a mistake, after 5 minutes it got boring and redundant.
Next time i should think before i act.
Because of Pac man CE, i was thinking old school could really work with a new edge, well that doesn't apply all the time.

It's worth noting that the main menu of Arkanoid gives you a list of Episodes 1 to 4 to choose from but when you quit the trial the game says that you only get Episodes 1 and 2 with the full game and that you download 3 and 4 at a later date which means, depending on the pricing of the DLC, you are really only buying half a game.
I bought Space Invaders Extreme though, great game although my experience with online so far has been a bit laggy :(

I'm all for retro/unique visuals in games (especially PSN/XBLA games) but Zombie Wranglers looks really half-assed.
Reminds me of a Simpsons-mod level on Counter Strike 1.6.

its sorta off topic but did you guys get rid of WRUP?
not that i missed it....

WRUP is on the main page. If you only read the xbox section you probably missed it.

Well 3 games this week and only one worth getting.
Zombie Wranglers was something I had alot of hopes for as I love me some zombie action and it has been delayed a long long time.
Unfortunatly when I played it I quickly realized it was really boring and ultimately just Arkadian Warriors with a new name. I do own Arkadian Warriors but man I'm not ever paying for that kind of game again with the kind of arcade games we get these days...Instant delete.
Arkanoid is an ok game but again a game the arcade could have used like 2 years ago. There is like 20 or so Arkanoid type community games already and overall games like Peggle make this one way out dated.
Space Invaders however, was a game I had the least intrest in but upon playing it realized it was the best offering of the week and a game well worth what it was asking for in price. The multiplayer aspect of it makes it very fun indeed.
I hope Taito continues this collection series and gives us a fresh new double dragon that is in the spirit of Double Dragon 3 on the good ol Nes.

Space Invaders Extreme rocks. Not only does it a great job of improving on the original, but it is TONS of fun online (just beware, you should play with people from your general area, since the netcode doesn't like long-distance connections for some reason).
A friend of mine jokingly said "MS should give this to all gamers age 30 and up for free" :)

Senior discount?

These titles are kind of bland, especially Zombie Wranglers. Wranglers was boring, Arkanoid could use a paddle controller, and Space Invaders- may have to spend a little more time with that one, the 10 minutes I've spent with it were forgettable.

Mainly because "old farts" like him and me still remember playing Space Invaders til death on the old VCS2600 :)
