X-Blades demo now on X-Box Live

Major Nelson has announced that an X-Blades demo is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. If X-Blades managed to slip under your radar, we wouldn't blame you. All you really need to know is that the game features a scantily clad lady slicing and dicing bad guys with swords. Oh, the lady is attractive too. That's important. You can add the demo to your 360 download queue right here.

It was X-cruciating, too. The controls were X-ceptionally bad, and attempting to X-ecute a double jump X-temporaneously X-tinguished any fun that could have possibly been X-tracted from the game. Words cannot X-press my X-tensive distaste for this game.

Damn X-Blade is bad.. do these people play games.. it has PS-X logic in the combat.. think I may need to send my 360 in for repair after that crap..

@ Psychohog - Yeah is was good in a kind of retro gameplay way, felt pretty last gen, but with some neat touches (neat? I never say 'neat'.. wtf), I'll keep an eye on the bargain bin for that one

Oh wow, talk about generic. Female treasure hunter (Tomb Raider) with swords and guns (Devil May Cry will cry) going through ruins. Mix in anime art style, because everybody knows that anime sells well. Yikes.

The game already fails in it's tutorial level. How are you supposed to kill the ice elementals when you've got nothiing to replenish your rage meter with? And what is up with that kitty boss? I'm as good at pattern recognition as the next guy, but if there's a trick to beat this guy, it eludes me. Crapfest. And don't get me started on the aim "controls".
