CVG reports that the UK version of
Official Xbox Magazine will include a free, premium
Left 4 Dead theme in its next issue's disc. We contacted
OXM's US offices and have confirmed with Senior Editor Dan Amrich that the theme will also be appearing in same issue of the US publication. The theme, incidentally, was actually crafted by Valve. Amrich also mentioned that the disc will have five
Left 4 Dead gamerpics as well. The issue should already be arriving in subscriber mailboxes and will hit newsstands next Tuesday.
Oh, and the magazine has info about
Left 4 Dead 2 in it too, so that's a plus. If you'd like to pick one up for yourself, keep an eye out for the
Left 4 Dead 2 cover, which you can check out after the break.

I got this issue last week. They have also had premium Lost Planet and Resident Evil 5 themes.

The Resident Evil 5 theme was crap - just the same image with different colours on each blade.
Close to Zero effort was put into the theme - but what else would you expect when you hear Capcom + Free Content.

I got it about a week ago in the mail. Great theme, but there's supposed to be gamerpics as well, one is missing the L4D logo.

Oddly I just got this in the mail yesterday. It was nice to not have to play through all the demos/OXM universe to get to the theme/gamer pics.
To those that complained... at least you didn't pay 250 pts ~ $3.13 for them

I got a two year subscription on amazon.com for $44.95, make sure it says it includes the discs though, apparently not all of the subscriptions to oxm through amazon do.

yeah confirming, you do get 5 gamer pictures with the disk too. the 4 characters from the 1st game, and the hand from the game cover

Cant rememember the last time i got OXM... Think it was around the 360 launch cause they started including 360 demos as well as original xbox demos on one disc.

It only comes with 4 gamerpics, not 5. The hand is not there despite it blatantly saying that it comes with the hand.
