So, with all the DLC they've been pushing out recently, one would hope the next release of Lips is compatible with these tracks. I don't believe MS have commented on Lips DLC compatibility yet, however.

Right, because song releases that were probably planned months ago would be dropped immediately after someone died a week ago. Makes perfect sense.
The one that SHOULD have dropped next Tuesday is ABC on Rock Band, since Harmonix stated that some of the Unplugged exclusive tracks would be coming to the home consoles. So it might already be done.
