Metanet: N+ next week's Xbox Live deal

Developer Metanet has revealed that its excellent platformer, N+, will be XBLA's Deal of the Week for July 6-12. The developer states that the title will be sold at 50 percent off, making it 400

($5) and a must buy.

Of course, as we've learned countless times, nothing is official until Microsoft says so on Monday. Check back next week for final confirmation -- and loads of sad emoticons if the company decides otherwise.

heck yeah it does:

Players: 1-4

Players Co-op: 1-4

Multiplayer Versus

System Link: 2-4

it even has a level editor for you to make your own crazy levels. at $5 it is a great deal.

I've been meaning to buy this for awhile. It was the first game I bought for my DS and I got a lot of fun (and frustration!) out of it.

Microsoft occasionally does this deal right by picking good games and not some obscure DLC for games long since forgotten.

Good arcade game. Loads of levels including free DLC and multiplayer. Gets pretty challenging towards the end so it's a good game for core gamers as well.

At $5, this is a steal. One of the best overall games I've picked up on XBLA, though likely not for everyone due to it's difficulty later on. It really shines in co-op. You can play the single player campaign with others, which can make the later levels quite a bit easier. There are a few that I'm not sure I could have passed without help.

Use the 400 to get Doom! it has co-op and multiplayer! 4 episodes and a pretty cool story... if you already have Doom than get Fatal Fury Special or Marble blast ultra. If you have those than get Kodu Game Lab...If you have that well... save your points or get something else you've been wanting...
