Xbox Live sure can, Master Chief, as your game
Halo 3 was once again the most played title on Xbox Live. For the week ending June 29, many gamers took to the floating rings in space for some first-person combat, knocking down the duo of
Call of Duty: World at War and
Call of Duty 4 to second and third place, respectively. The rest of the list posted by
Major Nelson is pretty run-of-the-mill, save for what came in last place:
Rock Band 2. We can't remember the last time
Rock Band 2 populated this list. So, good for you, little game-that-could!
On the XBLA side, it's all about the
Worms 2. Explosive sheep were quite the draw, as the sequel to Team17's fragfest managed to beat out another popular XBLA title,
Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalker. We guess

what happened to the xbox crew the last couple days? no fancast, no posts.. am i missing something?
weird, i dont play any of the top live games anymore. i never played halo 3, rarely play the cods and dont even own a rockband kit.. thinkin bout givin up on MP for a while and play some 1p campaigns. gettin bored with halo wars again.

Rock Band 2's on there cuz of the Pepsi promo. I've won 26 DLC tracks with that for free!! Greatest promo ever!!!

Is that title suppose to be a reference to the pink Floyd song Comfortably Numb? If so, that lyric is wrong. I believe it should be "halo, is there anybody in there?"

I personally was really excited about Magic on the 360. The reason people aren't playing as much is the lack of flexibility and content. It's a game you can pick up fast and if you are into it you are very quickly ready for more. They need to come out with more decks and the ability to customize decks in order to keep people playing. If you are worried that people will ruin themselves with overhauling their decks with the wrong cards then get a tutorial up there on how to make a deck. This game has TONS of potential. I know I will continue buying them because its a solid game with intuitive controls.
