1 vs 100 open to Silver Live members this weekend

Microsoft has sent word that 1 vs 100 will once again be accessible to Xbox Live members with Silver accounts this weekend. From July 17 until July 19, the game will be open to Silver members in the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany. Players in the US and Canada -- excluding a few states and Quebec -- will also earn entries toward the 1 vs 100 sweepstakes for every question they answer.

So, all you Silver members out there, we suggest you grab some friends and give it a try. Be sure to snag a friend that's really quick on the draw with Google, too. You know, so you can look up the phone number of the nearest pizza place.

The Crowd will thin out if they don't start picking folks at RANDOM to be eligible for prizes. Whatever formula they use never includes me, but one comment from the host implied a player had been in The Mob at least twice.

The weekday Extended Play stuff seems to have dwindled to just 11PM Eastern, and I can't get any rep going AND get to work the next day playing that late...

Sooo, do they give out prizes now? Last time I played I got jipped 500MP and a fucking arcade title.

They have been since 7/10 on the Live episodes, but I'm not sure if that'll apply this weekend.

the prizes take a while to get. during the live show the host keeps saying check your profile info and theyll contact you. it would be nice if it was faster but that would make sense..

I love this game, but I'm starting to wonder if people haven't found a way to juke the system. I always see people with near-instant average answer speeds, impossible streaks, and illogical point totals. I play fair, using only my knowledge of otehrwise completely useless facts. I did, however, make it into the Top 10 on Monday's Extended Play. I'm always looking for party members to play with too, so hit me up. (likefate)
