Xbox Micro is just the right amount of slim

If there's one thing we'd fault the original Xbox with, it would have to be its size. Well, that and its gigantic, clunky launch controllers. And maybe we'd have put a bitching spoiler on the thing and some undercarriage neon lights. Okay, those are a few things, but we digress. This mod from Xbox-Scene forum member Bandit5317 is nothing short of a tiny technological wonder. We wouldn't mind fragging fools in Halo 2 with that thing, that's for sure!

fyi, one of the things the original xbox was, and still is commonly used for is a media center extender.

At that size with externally connected storage it should act as a great MCE, media server or similar when running Linux.

Besides - who needs 'a life', more? The pathetic guy on the internet that feels the need to tell others to get a life or the one he's trying to tell to get a life?

And yet, the PS3 is larger than the Xbox 1 was, but you don't hear a lot of complaints about its size.

Of course, that might have to do with the fact that the X1 *looks* like a humongous BOX, whereas the PS3, despite its larger size, actually has some style to it -- even if it does look like a George Foreman grill. ;)

I think you're right on about the original design. Just cause it's called xbox doesn't mean it had to look like a box.

And I really really liked the original controllers, I used them til the day I got my 360. The reason I liked them so much is because I have bigger hands so they fit that big controller pretty well.
