Ska MAED an Indie game and put Z0MB1ES!!!1 in it
Ska Studios is at it again, with another Xbox Live Indie Game filled to the brim with awesome. On August 16, the Dishwasher: Dead Samurai dev released a new title, sure to light a creative fire under the butts of game makers everywhere. I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 attempts to answer the question that has plagued game designers for decades: What would happen if you made a game and then put zombies in it?
The results are astounding. Never in the history of the video game world -- unless you consider the Resident Evil franchise, Left 4 Dead, that mode in World at War ... and about three hundred others -- has a game company attempted to insert zombies into their title, but somehow Ska delivers. I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 is available now for the budget price of 80
($1.00 in human money). A video of the hilarious shooter in action is after the jump.
[Thanks, Jon]

You know this entire post was soaked in a healthy dose of sarcasm, right?

jayCLAYM0RE @ Aug 20th 2009 6:09PM
uh... no. more like Crimsonland. btw, the game's awesome! best damn dollar spent in the marketplace!
Minecart @ Aug 20th 2009 6:24PM
Yeah, the screens immediately reminded me of Crimsonland. So I bought it without a second thought. I mean barely any XBLA games these days are priced at the 5$ mark (and 90% of the ones that are are utter crap) so it was a no-brainer.
Hee hee zombie pun?

$1 game to play something like Geometry Wars?
sick!
CH3BURASHKA @ Aug 20th 2009 6:31PM
A complete rip of other recent games, and an obvious mix of top down double analog shooter and zombies, but at least it's of quality.
KD @ Aug 20th 2009 6:54PM
Ummmmm, since CrimsonLand (one of the best from Reflexive IMO) was out there before 360 was even for sale, so this being something of a 'complete rip' is pretty much you saying, "hey look at me, I'm talking out of my @ss..."
CH3BURASHKA @ Aug 20th 2009 7:05PM
??? I'm not following you, KD. What's CrimsonLand have to do with this?
Kadamon @ Aug 20th 2009 7:35PM
Excuse me whilst I go buy this and play the shit out of it for the next long while.

Bought it day one and it's BADASS. GO buy now. Forget that Avatar hat from Adidas you had your eyes on, this is a better use of that $1.00.

This game rocks! It gets so trippy when you've been playing for a while!
InTheCatBoxAgain @ Aug 21st 2009 10:43AM
This is well worth the $1 and one of the best indie games out there.

Got the trial queued up, can't wait to try it out. What's multiplayer like, anyone tried it?

Hang on a sec... Microsoft will allow $1 games to be sold for the 360, but won't allow anything under $3 for WinMo? Am I missing something here?
