Forza 3 demo speeds onto Xbox Live
Just a quick reminder, folks. Remember that Forza 3 demo that Microsoft promised earlier this month? Yeah, well it's out now. All the gearheads and car fanatics out there can finally get a taste of Turn 10's latest super sim, the full version of which releases next month. The demo clocks in at one gigabyte and contains 5 beautifully rendered cars which can be raced on the Camino Viejo track. The five cars are:

Hey man, hows that GT5? I bet it just beats the shit out of Forza 3, right??... Oh man, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot! Its not coming out for another year or so! Didn't mean to ruin your day.

I have GT5 Prologue and as far as the two demos go, Forza is better in my opinion !
the_pop @ Sep 24th 2009 7:11PM
...and you don't have to pay for this demo!

GT5 is supposed to be out this holiday. And I am a fan of both series. I've played GT since the ps1, so the series has been a big part of my gaming life. I also own and love both Forzas. I don't see any reason to hate on one or the other.

Everytime now that I hear the word amazing, I hear it like being said by Peter Molyneux.

Yeah, it's not like there isn't some big flashing ad going on when you power up the bawks.

i saw two of those ferrari californias in my town, and man these graphics don't do the car justice

Once youve played one racing game, youve played them all.

Boring. Well made, but boring. It's like a sunday afternoon cruise. No adrenaline rush, no thrills, just well made, boring driving.
Dr.House @ Sep 24th 2009 5:42PM
I felt the same way kinda. I like the game, but I didn't really feel like I was racing. Not to mention the in car view has no effects for when you crash like in NFS: Shift (I hate that game but that feature is nice).
Xiphias @ Sep 24th 2009 7:04PM
Well then go back to your arcade racers, for a sim racing fanatic such as myself Forza 3 is incredible!
BFBeast666 @ Sep 24th 2009 7:32PM
But even a sim can have that "Wow" feel. Look at GT Legends. That has more dynamics than Forza 3.
Dr.House @ Sep 24th 2009 11:02PM
@ Xiphias and everyone who up voted you
I clearly said I like the game and I hate the new need for speed; so you're statement makes no sense. I love sim racers that's why I gave my friend crap for getting NFS over Forza. But the fact is that there are some effects like depth of field and crash effects (dazed effect after a crash at the least?) that are missing from the game that would of made the game that much more enjoyable. I would really like to see driver injuries in crashes. At least on the highest sim damage level. That said the game is still a day one purchase, I'm just nit picking.
harma41 @ Sep 24th 2009 11:34PM
Erases all of the wrongs of the past versions. This is simply amazing, and does not disappointment in the face of all of the hype. All hail the new king of racing simulation. Too bad Poly can't finish GT5, then ps3 players would know what it was like to play a game like FM3.
Awesome!
bimmerfreak0 @ Sep 25th 2009 12:34PM
my only quam is that the game still has really crappy collisions, really...i can ram right into the wall at 200 mph and still have an intact windshield....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! the crash physics still sucks....but the rest of the game was much improved...more lively
abergfeld @ Sep 25th 2009 3:02PM
I had specifically planned NOT to buy this game. To many games and not enough time. I haven't unlocked everything in Forza 2 yet. Then I played the demo. Is there a pre-order bonus? ;-)
