Two pleasantly surprising games on Xbox Live Arcade this week. First, there's South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play!, which is a tower defense game based on South Park, of all things. Then there's Lucidity, an original puzzle platform game from LucasArts. After taking a quick jaunt through the trial versions of both games, we're pleased to say that both of them are quite enjoyable. See what you're in for in the latest XBLA in Brief, and then decide if either game deserves your 800 ($10).

We heard about Lucidity when? Just after E3, or sometime then, right? And it's already coming out? I'm a little weirded out by that, but it looks awesome and I'll probably get it.

Finished the trial version. It kept nagging at my brain while I was working until I decided to buy it. Glad I did.

I am sure I will pick up Lucidity eventually, but I just have too much on my gaming plate right now. Still haven't bought Shadow Complex
