Left 4 Dead 2 demo, new Games on Demand available now

The demo of the zombie survival training game (also known as Left 4 Dead 2) is available now to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Although the retail game completes the scenario snippet on offer, the demo certainly feels like "more of the same," albeit with the addition of some new melee and bullet-required weapons.
Also on the shooter front: Battlefield 2: Modern Combat can now be acquired through Games on Demand for $20. Far Cry 2 is also available outside of North America. As always, we feel it prudent to mention that the titles are likely to be found cheaper at a local brick-and-mortar shop (at the risk of running into shopper zombies!).

Yeah the demo has 2-player split-screen (for both online and offline).

It does have online co-op. I just got through playing the demo. It's kinda big though. It is 2 GB.

The fact that it also doesn't have VS (at least PC version doesn't) in the demo makes it a little less exciting. The first one did, I believe.

Nope the first demo didn't have vs. in the 360 at least. The co-op is in both though so thats good.

Well unless I'm crazy the PC version did have VS in the demo. But oh well, the demo still gives a great feeling about the game.

I got the demo on have played a few times thru single and multiplayer co-op (that's all that's available).
Several interesting new features, Director 2.0 is better, and it has one very glaring throwback to L4D1:

actually it seems to zombie wide - Left 4 Dead (1) has had horrible lag and connection issues all day. Most games on the original have been red bar riddled also. They best get their server crap figured out before launch day!

does anyone know how to turn into a zombie
because my 3 mates turned against me and they CONTROLED CHARGERS/SMOKERS/JOKEYS AND HEAPS OTHERS!
and they kept killing me...but they wouldnt tell me how to do it
