PSA: Futureshop slashing prices on Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2, NFS: Shift

The online and in-store sale ends on December 3, so make sure to defrost your car, dust off your skates and hit the store ASAP. And before you ask: Yes, Rock Band 2's special edition is priced at $99 and does include a free mullet kit. We don't know what that is, but we know we want it. More Canadian deals can be found after the break.
Update: Best Buy Canada is offering similar discounts.

as a ps3/ pc owner, i have to say nothing interests me... I'll let my friend know, he wanted to buy left for dead 2, don't think he has it yet.

You own a PC but don't want to play Left 4 Dead 2, because it's not on PS3?
Excuse me while I go laugh at you behind your back. hee hee hee

Umm, left for dead 2 isn't on sale for the pc... Plus i already have enough games to last me a while...
Why would i have a gaming pc, then not play a game just cause it's not out on the ps3? what would be the point of having a gaming pc?

A mullet kit is a set of three different hair accessories (a bandana, something else and ofcourse, a mullet) that you can put on when you are rocking out those plastic instruments!
All the other games are very much in stock, atleast at the downtown toronto store so I wouldn't skip my breakfast to get em.
I'll snap a pic of the mullet kit tomorrow ;)

Wow -what a useful post, not. Welcome to last week (literally) when this was actually news.

Hey, it's been a bit of a busy weekend with Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Give 'em a break.
That said, any Canadian that doesn't know about this already has their heads too deep into a bowl of poutine to even matter.
I think the only reason for this post is to scoff at Americans. And seeing as I'm an American that's been living in Canada for the last 12 years, I scoff as well!
Once in a while Canada gets kick-ass deals on things. This is one.
Suck it, my fellow yanks! Free health-care and cheap games. We stand on guard for thee, bitches!

Looks like I'll have to buy Dragon Age now.
Nick @ Dec 1st 2009 1:48AM
I've got 3 games that I could ship off to Rogers that cost me all of about $28, but I don't even think I can justify Dragon Age, even at that price, from what I've heard about it.
Constant micro-management of friendly AI?
Spending more time in menu than actually playing the game?
Completely uneven difficulty?
Crappy direction system for sidequests?
Silent main character?
All major cons for me. I got spoiled by Mass Effect and a verbal main character. It takes a lot for me to enjoy a game where I'm playing a mute. It doesn't engulf me in the character's struggle, it just makes me wonder if I've just become Helen Keller.
I want to want to like it, but all the stuff I've read... It doesn't sound like I will.

O, Canada. Our home and native la-- oh! cheap games!
