Helping Hand

Itagaki has reached out to various projects in order to add a piece of Ninja flare. When Tecmo planned an Xbox Director's Cut of Fatal Frame II, Itagaki was brought on as an advisor for his vast knowledge of the platform.

In Dead or Alive 4, Bungie worked with Itagaki to add a Spartan soldier as a special, unlockable character. In Halo 3, Bungie added an armor type called the Hayabusa armor which was based on the headpiece from the famous Ninja Gaiden character of the same name.
