Before our match was over, Blazing Lizard made sure to inform us that it will continue to support Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball after release and that said support is much more than "just bug fixes." In addition to a new team offered through DLC, Blazing Lizard has plans to expand the game going forward, though they wouldn't share specific details on exactly how the game will be expanded.
Overall, we enjoyed our time with Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball. Its main draw is definitely multiplayer, as the AI players really just don't cut it compared to a real human. Thankfully, players can bring guests on Xbox Live, so any combination of local players and Live players can fill an online game.
With so many great titles on XBLA recently, it's much harder for games to stand out, but players looking for a decent multiplayer party game should definitely give PvN Dodgeball a try.
