Ask Joystiq Xbox: D-pad is de problem edition

It's Tuesday, time for another edition of Ask Joystiq Xbox. This week, we talk about Xbox Live credit card removal (again), Halo 3: ODST multiplayer (again), good games for little brothers, HDMI connection weirdness and more. And, as the headline suggests, we discuss the 360's awful, awful D-pad.

Also, by the way, we're practically out of questions to answer. We refuse to believe that we've answered them all. Sure, we're probably getting close, but not that close. If you have burning (Xbox-related) questions, send 'em to the email address below.

Ha! We bet you thought Ask X3F had gone the way of the dodo thanks to the recent relaunch of Joystiq. Well, okay, technically you're right. Ask X3F is no more. This week we discuss console killing power supplies, backwards compatibility, free Marketplace content and more. Soak it all up with your brain sponge -- or you could just read it -- after the break.

Oh, one more thing: The Ask email address is staying the same for now. It may change in the future, but rest assured that the original address will keep working in the meantime, so keep sending in those questions!

Ask X3F: Heart healthy edition

This week on Ask X3F -- our weekly, reader-powered Q&A feature -- we discuss the gravest of matters, the Red Ring of Death. Of course, we can't sour the entire column with the stench of dead consoles, so we also devote some time to FASA, gamesaving cheating and the post-launch fate of Halo Wars. Read on, but be sure to call for help if your left arm goes numb.

Ask X3F: Treasured memories edition

Geez, kids, we've got more questions than we can shake a raw hunk of undead flesh at. Trust us when we say that we're capable of shaking a hunk of undead flesh at a lot of questions, but this is overwhelming even to us. Are we to believe that you actually want -- possibly need -- our sage advice? We're truly touched. This week in Ask X3F, we cover child account promotion, saved films, achievement tracking and more. Now please stop touching us. It's creepy.
