New Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer trailer reminds us of the good ol' days
Ahem, that said, the latest multiplayer trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 above, serves to remind us of all the good times we had the first time around. It also, unfortunately, serves to remind us that the second game still isn't out for another three months. Luckily, some of you will get to enjoy the multiplayer beta starting today. Do us all a favor, folks -- shell the snipers!

EA details Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition, same price as normal
The four BFBC2 unlocks are:
- Improved Vehicle Armor - Pretty self explanatory.
- Supreme Vehicle Firepower - Additional weapon mounts for the driver.
- Vehicle Motion Sensor - Locate enemy units in proximity to vehicle.
- Tracer Dart Pistol - Attaches to any vehicle "to track, lock on, and fire rockets onto moving targets even beyond line of sight"
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 'Moments' trailer is obscenely awesome
Fortunately, it looks like there's some solid action in there to accompany all the dirty words. Check out the trailer for an uncut, uncensored and unsuitable for work gameplay chunk from a multiplayer match in BBC2. The game, that is -- not the brainy British television channel.

Battlefield: Bad Company Conquest Mode DLC coming August 7th
Back in April, a little PR disaster caused EA to come to their senses and changed their mind about charging players to unlock weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company. Luckily, this trend is continuing with the game's other DLC content as well; later this week, you'll be able to download the first major update to the game, for free.
The update will contain a Conquest Mode which was originally found on Battlefield 1942. The mode allows two teams go against each other in order to reduce one another's tickets. Scoring a kill or capturing control points are two ways to do just that. Anticipate this update to arrive on Thursday, August 7th. Finally, check out the video above of producer Gordon Van Dyke explaining all the updates you should expect.

DICE cares, Bad Company updates inbound

Posting on the official Bad Company website, team DICE wanted to let everyone know that they're listening and are looking into all the Bad Company improvements the community has suggested. The first update being the addition of a Conquest game mode that will be included in "The Conquest Pack" which is currently in MS cert. After that's complete, DICE promises to look into issues surrounding things like auto balancing and stat exploits. Remember kids, DICE listens and DICE reacts all because DICE cares.
