'Imperial Agent' class sneaks into Star Wars: The Old Republic

Sounds like a good, assassin-style class for players whose friends inform them that not everybody can be a Jedi Knight or a Sith Warrior. Check out screens of the Imperial Agent at IncGamers.
Star Wars: The Old Republic site launches Jedi class page
There's finally a reason to visit the "professional classifications" section of the official website for the upcoming BioWare MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The page for the only class worth playing, the Jedi, has finally been added! The site's got images of Jedi garb and weaponry up, and even a few videos of lightsaber murder.
"But Joystiq, the Jedi isn't the only class worth playing! I want to be a smuggler!" What's that? Sorry, we had a little trouble hearing you while we crushed your windpipe with our minds. Speaking of which, we guess the Sith Warrior is okay, too -- but just barely.

The Force Unleashed PC requirements prompt trip to Tosche station
Remember when Star Wars: The Force Unleashed failed to make an appearance on the PC platform last year, and LucasArts claimed it would only be able to run on gaming rigs equipped with futuristic cybertechnology mankind had yet to invent? Somehow, Aspyr Media has found a way to bring the Sith Edition of the game to your personal computer without requiring you to install tachyon holophase relays or warpsteel heat dissipators.
However, the game's minimum requirements, which are posted after the jump, do suggest you need something called a "3D Hardware Accelerator Card." Yeah, sure. Let us just hop in our time machine and we'll pick one up at the Future Best Buy.

THQ forcing Star Wars: Trench Run onto iPhone
Because blowing up the Death Star never gets old, THQ is recreating the climactic space battle from the conclusion of the first Star Wars film in an all-new game for the iPhone. Star Wars: Trench Run will appear in the App store soon, IGN reports, and will feature a tilt-based control scheme. There's no word on a price yet, but given the platform, we're willing to bet even the scruffiest Nerf herder will be able to afford it.

Darth Vader senses your Wiimote's presence

With the economy the way it is, even Sith Lords are having to work second jobs. Take Darth Vader here, who's moonlighting as the absolute coolest Wii sensor bar holder ever. (We're sure his supervisor will say something similar on his quarterly performance report.)
You can hire Lord Vader for the sum of $49.99 from the official Star Wars Shop website, and he'll drop out of hyperspace (a.k.a. arriving via FedEx) sometime in November. Just be forewarned that his heavy breathing might ruin the atmosphere during those quiet, extremely tense gaming moments. But hey -- as much as old "Iron Lung Ani" needs the work, nobody's Forcing you to hire him.

LucasArts shows off Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron
The camera has been changed to a more top-down view, providing a much more fast-paced and arcade-like experience. The game is limited to just four players on the DS version, but a LucasArts producer insists that "the soul of Battlefront has been brought to Nintendo DS in a brand new way." We're wondering if, after watching the footage above, you agree.
Star Wars: Jedi Knight series arrives on Steam in force

A short time ago, on a website as close as your keyboard, LucasArts launched its latest retro revival on Steam. While previously the publisher had brought several of its classic adventure games to the service, this time it's all Star Wars -- the entire Jedi Knight series, to be specific.
The five games are being offered as a set for $19.99, though, should you find yourself short oncredits cash and/or just want a particular installment, these are the prices you're looking for: Star Wars: Dark Forces and Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II at $4.99 apiece; Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for $9.99 each; and Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith at $2.99. May the bandwidth be with you.

Star Wars Republic Heroes demo caters to disturbing lack of faith
Not to be confused with the infamous military standoff prompted by the worldwide shortage of Old Spice in the early 1950s, The Clone Wars were first mentioned by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: A New Hope. The fictional saga has since been depicted in George Lucas' prequel trilogy, an animated TV series and several video games, including a new entry from Krome Studios.
A demo for (here comes the full title) Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes is available on Xbox Live, roughly a month before the full version's October 6 release.
Oh, right, we'd better work in another Star Wars reference over here. Umm, hey, why haven't you downloaded this Star Wars demo yet? What is Tarkin you so long?

Impressive: Star Wars: The Old Republic's Sith Warrior class detailed
If pale white skin and sulking over lost love sounds like your cup of tea, then you'll likely identify with the Sith Warrior class in upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. It's the latest class to be revealed, one that "channels the destructive emotions of fear, anger, and hatred to purge weakness from body and mind and become a being of pure, brutal efficiency." Yes, but can he also make julienne fries?

Force Unleashed Tatooine level unleashed on Xbox 360, PS3

).What isn't available as DLC is an additional mission that takes place on Hoth and has the Apprentice seeking young Skywalker. That mission will only be available on the Ultimate Sith Edition of the game, which releases in early November. Instead of spending the cash now, it may be best to wait until the new game (currently listed for $40 on Amazon) comes out -- and get the aforementioned DLC packs and the Jedi Temple Mission Pack all on one disc.

After taking a week off to hook us up with some Shinobi, the Virtual Console provides us with the promised sequel to Super Star Wars: Super Empire Strikes Back. It's an improvement on the very fun Super Star Wars and ramps up the experience in almost every respect. But, be warned: as fun as it is, it's equally as punishing.

PSA: The Force Unleashed trophies now available

Snap Judgment: Star Wars: Republic Squadron
Anyway, we've taken the bullet for you and are happy to present our video hands-on with the game, which wasn't nearly as bad as we assumed. Enjoy.
Remember The Force Unleashed? It's getting Trophies

Of course Star Wars: The Force Unleashed isn't dead. Who told you that? Not only was a new version announced to be released this fall, but the LucasArts twitter feed has revealed that the original PS3 version will be receiving a Trophy patch around the same time. The only catch: You'll need to start a new game in order to begin earning Trophies; they aren't retroactive with existing saved games.
Sure, you'll still need to pony up the cash for the Ultimate Sith Edition if you intend on playing one of the new missions, but if, like us, you still have an unopened copy of the original sitting around from the Great Game Flood of Q4 2008, you'll no doubt welcome the excuse to finally crack it open. Apparently it's pretty good. For a Star Wars game.
